We spent Sunday skiing at Snowmass. The kids really LOVE that mountain and ski super well there. It is amazing to me how good Gracie and Norah are ~ Gracie is a little more technical while Norah just rips down the mountain. She remains in control, but she really moves, it is honestly challenging to keep up with her ;0). Jack is doing great too.... he is on the harness still but loving the idea of it!!

Valentine's Day!!!!
Our Trip to Cozumel!!!!!!!!
Our trip to Cozumel was SOOOOO wonderful!!! I was pretty anxious about leaving the kids, but it was a perfect time. I am so thankful that my parents were willing to help watch the kids.
We left on a early flight Wednesday morning. We said our good-byes to the kids (they were really excited to have "adventures" with Nani ;0). Our friends Ann & Pete picked us up and we were off to the airport. I haven't flown without a child or a baby climbing all over me in almost 8 years - It was a very nice experience again ;0). When we arrived, we enjoyed some yummy drinks and a delicious meal. We later danced the night away at the little bar in the resort.... I haven't danced on a table in years ;0).
We spent Thursday just relaxing on the beach..... The weather was fantastic - it was in the high 70's everyday! Some clouds, but plenty of sun too. I was able to get tons of reading in ~ My book of choice for the trip was, Jodi Piccoult's Change of Heart. I absolutely love her writing style, this book was really, really good!
Friday was my 31st Birthday!!!! We started the day with a scuba-dive. John loves diving and has always wanted me to try it, but I have never been super interested..... I get so cold in the water that I just never thought it would be so fun! Well..... I was very wrong. It really was amazing ~ ~ ~ ~ I felt like I was in another world. The fish and the plants were so cool and neat to watch. I am excited to get some more dives in so I can become certified! On Friday afternoon, we rented a jeep and explored a little bit. We stopped at a couple of little bars on the way and had such a blast. After multiple "Feliz Cumpleanos" fish-bowl margaritas, I was definitely feeling good....... We went into a little town and had a fantastic meal and more margaritas! It was a super fun night and a great way to celebrate my birthday.....
..... Until, I felt HORRIBLE on Saturday morning. Yuck! It was awful, I am not sure that it's worth it anymore ;0) Hangovers never used to be so bad!!! The rest of Saturday was spent just sleeping and relaxing on the beach. We had a great dinner and probably the best night's sleep I have had in years........
Sunday was our last day. I was definitely missing the kids, but I would have been happy with one more night! We enjoyed the beach and the silence until we left the resort around 2:00. We headed to the airport and arrived back home ;0) The kids were already sleeping when we returned so I had to wait until the morning to talk to them.
They were SOOOOO cute in the morning when they saw me. (John leaves for work super early, so they didn't get to see him until later). Jack turned the corner in my room and yelled "MAMA", he gave me the world's longest little hug and was so excited!!! The girls came running in to our room with lots of hugs, kisses, and stories..... They missed us lots but had SUCH a good time with Nani & Poppi!!!!!!!
We are definitely going to try to do trips like this more often.... It was great for everyone!!!!!!
