We leave right after school today!!!!!

I cannot wait to see their little reactions!!!

It has been SOOOO hard to keep this a secret, but we did it!!!

This one was just too funny...... had to include it!

John completed all the framing.......

He did a really great job, I had no idea he knew how to do this!

Last weekend, he even rented a cement mixer and got the floor all filled in......

It's such a gigantic mess!

BASEMENT UPDATE #3

Although we are slowly, but surely making progress on the Basement Project, the clock is DEFINITELY ticking.........

We are so excited to be hosting my family for the Thanksgiving Holiday, and have a plan of action to make sure this project is completed in time!

The plumber broke ground for the

Jack&Jill Bathroom.....

and the guest bathroom....

all the plumbing is roughed in!

the electrical is all roughed in.........

It is quite the mess down there right now!

But.... we are starting to see progress!

NEXT UP:

*John is finishing all framing ASAP

as well as filling the bathroom holes with cement!

*We have someone coming to do vents & heating!

*Dry-wall is scheduled for this coming week!!!

*then.... the FINISH WORK!!!!

A GORGEOUS Fall Hike - - -

We are truly having the most AMAZING Fall

I have ever witnessed in Colorado!!!

Fall is my favorite Season of the year....

Growing up in Wisconsin, this season was always SO gorgeous.

Although Beautiful, It's usually super short in Colorado.

This year, it has stuck around long enough to really enjoy

the beautiful changing colors!!!

Our weather has been unusually warm too.....

Normally by Halloween, we have had our first snowfall ;0)

WE HOPE EVERYONE HAS ENJOYED

Beautiful St. Mary's Glacier

We took a family hike to BEAUTIFUL St. Mary's Glacier....

This little hike used to be our old stand-by and we did it all the time.

It is such an easy hike for the kids to do

and the dogs LOVE it!!!

It was so great to get up there again....

Pumpkin Patch, 2010

This past weekend, we made our annual trip to the

PUMPKIN PATCH!!!

We have been going to the same pumpkin farm,

"Rock Creek Farms", since Grace was a baby!

This is one of my favorite little family adventures!!!

This year, the weather was amazing

and the "pickins" were outstanding!!!

It was actually difficult to choose the perfect one!

After picking, we always enjoy running through the hay maze,

looking at the animals, and participating in other fun activities.

I absolutely LOVE this time of the year with the kiddos!!!

It's so much fun!

Can't wait to carve the pumpkins!

It is truly hard to believe that 9 years have passed

since welcoming my little gift of Grace into the world!

Words cannot begin to express how blessed I feel.

Gracie is my little angel baby

who has grown into one of the

kindest, sweetest girls I have ever known!

I am so proud to be her mom!!!

celebrating her big day and life!!!
