10.29.2009 - - ANOTHER SNOW DAY!!!

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH SNOW

WE HAVE HAD OVER THE PAST 2 DAYS!!!!

and.... IT'S STILL SNOWING!

The kids had their 2nd SNOW DAY of the school year today,

I have never even thought of October as a month for snow days.......

This has been a CRAZY storm!!!

Hopefully, the schools will be open tomorrow so Halloween can be celebrated!

* As of this afternoon (10.29), I would say we have at least 2.5 feet *

~As you can see, we are completely buried in the snow~

10.28.2009 - - - SNOW DAY!!!!

LOOK AT ALL OF THIS SNOW!!!

We knew a storm was on its way on Tuesday night, but didn't expect this....

It literally snowed all night long and we woke up to this!

- - The kids had their first SNOW DAY of the year - -

At first, they were both pretty bummed to not be in school, but then they started playing and had a blast in the snow!!!

Pumpkin Patch, 2009

We went to the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend..... we have been going to the same little pumpkin farm since Gracie was a baby and it's always so fun. It's a "u-pick-em" farm and the kids have such a blast running out into the fields finding the perfect pumpkin!!! They also have the cutest little hay maze set up and farm animals are on display to watch!

This really has become such a fun family tradition!!!

Now, we are all eagerly awaiting the night we get to carve them!!!

FIRST SNOWFALL

It has been snowing all day so far today......

It just seems really early!

Our little neighborhood had a "fall fest"

planned that had to be postponed to next weekend....

First Day of the Season!!!

Arapahoe Basin opened yesterday

for the first day of the 09-10 ski season!!!

The kids didn't have school and

John ended up with a 1/2 day at work

so we were able to head up for a couple of runs....

With only one run, it was quite crowded, but still lots of fun!!!

Here's to another great ski season.....

For a puppy party, I attempted a puppy cake..... I didn't have a cake pan so I had to use my imagination....

Gracie decided to have a big puppy sleep-over party!!! We ended up with 13 girls for the party. Gracie had 7 friends sleep-over and Norah had 2 friends sleep-over

It was A LOT of little girls.....

Her party turned out to be tons of fun!

(I especially love how Jack is in the middle of all of those girly-girls)
