Look who lost her 1st tooth?!?!?!?

NORAH!!!!!

Norah lost her very first tooth the other night..... she was "beyond words" excited. Mostly because she would be able to write her name on the "tooth board" at school and get a sticker and certificate from her teacher! She was also VERY anxious to see what her tooth-fairy would bring her!!!!

It's just so crazy how fast these kiddos are growing up..... big milestones, and little milestones - It's all so amazing!!!

Gracie's BIG Solar System Project

Gracie had a BIG science project regarding the Solar System...
The assignment was to create a model of the Solar System and research facts about the different planets!

Gracie decided that she would sew all of the planets and hang them in order from the sun. She attached little facts about the planets on note-cards. Every child in the class had to present their projects to the class - - - she was so excited and motivated!

She really did such a nice job - we're so proud of her!!!!

- - - SpringTime - - -

It has been fun to transition into our "spring" type of activities... we have been doing a lot of hiking, biking, and climbing lately!!! John would still love to be skiing, but I find it difficult to go hang out in the snow when we're having gorgeous spring weather down here.

Baseball Season!!

The girls are both on little baseball teams this spring......
It has been so much fun to watch!

Norah is on a tee-ball team mostly made up of kids from our little neighborhood. She is having such a blast at the practices and games. These games are so cute to watch ;0)

Gracie plays on a coed baseball team. The pitching is all done by machine.... Although she hasn't been able to actually hit the ball during a game, she consistently has a smile on her face (which is all that really matters right now). She's super close though..... she'll get it one of these times!!!

1st Day in Philly!!!!

We arrived in Philadelphia for some good "cousin fun" on Wednesday, March 31st!!!
The kids were great on the airplane and were anxious to see their cousins....

Everyone had a great time playing together that evening...

I am going to post pictures from everyday to document the trip.....
What a great visit!

Thanks Mags & Grimes Family

PHILLY FUN!!!

On Thursday, Maggie went into work and took Keegan to Day-Care. It was actually really fun to be with the 5 other kids...... we went to the park and played tons!!!

I absolutely LOVE watching them play together...
it really makes me wish we lived closer though!

Philly Fun, Day #3

John flew into Philly really late Thursday night so the kids were excited to see him. Friday was absolutely GORGEOUS and we planned a little picnic at Havertown College near their house... it is a beautiful and very private campus and the kids had a blast running around! The adults had REALLY yummy hoagies from Primo's. If you're ever in that area, you should definitely check them out - - - super delicious!!!

I still am in awe at all the signs of spring...
we just don't have that yet.

Fun in Philly - Day #4

On Saturday, we took the kids to the awesome "castle park" in Doylestown!!!
It is the coolest park I have ever seen and we try to go whenever we visit......

They had such a blast!!!

When we got home, we had to quick color some eggs for Easter.....
Another fun activity to watch them all do together.....

The kids had a little "cookie toast" to GG (with her favorite cookie).
She has been in heaven for a year now....
We all miss her dearly and think of her all the time....

Easter in Philly!!!

We had such a special Easter with our cousins....
this is the 2nd year in a row that we have been with them on Easter Sunday!

Luckily, the Easter Bunny found us in Philly and hid our baskets at Auntie Maggie's House.
The kids were super psyched!!!

Everyone got ready for church in the most adorable little matching dresses....

after mass it was time for the BIG egg hunt.
The bunny was able to hide all of the eggs outside!

Nani & Poppi drove to Philly and made it in time for Easter Dinner.
It was so nice to all be together - - they also brought this delicious pink bunny cake.

The bunny left these matching pj's in the girl's baskets.... how adorable are they?!?!?!
