Camping with Daddy!!!

Over the weekend, John took all 3 of the kids camping for a night.  They left around 4:00 in the afternoon and returned back home around 11:00 the next morning.  I had the entire house to myself and had a wonderful time cleaning and catching up on some much needed "me" time!!!! 

From the pictures, it looks like they had quite the fun adventure with Daddy ;0)  They actually hiked 1.6 miles into the camping spot they chose.....  I am still not quite sure how he managed to do this by himself with 3 children, but I am so glad they had a great little time together!!!

Rollin' Rockies -vs- Fairmount Fire

For the 2nd year in a row, John participated in the "Rollin' Rockies -vs- Fairmount Fire" softball game.  The "Rollin' Rockies" team challenges any able-bodied softball team to a game of wheelchair softball.   It is amazing to see people play in wheelchairs ~  It's so obviously difficult for John and the rest of his crew, but complete second nature to the other team......

Fairmount Fire lost again this year, but did okay ;0)  It's always an enjoyable game to watch and the kids always have fun watching Daddy &  playing with all of the other Fairmount kids!!!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

We had such a wonderful summer break, but the girls are so super excited to be "back to school".  Today was their first day at their new school, The Shrine of St. Anne's. 

 Gracie is a 3rd grader now and looked absolutely adorable in her little uniform.  Seeing her in that jumper brought back sooooo many memories!!!

I can't believe my little Norah Jane is a BIG Kindergartner!!!  It just doesn't seem possible.  She was such a big girl, she went right in and never even really looked back at me....  

It's such an exciting new chapter!!!

COUSIN FUN in PHILLY!!!!

We had such a wonderful visit with our cousins in Philadelphia!!!  We had a great week of playing at different parks, playing at the house,  enjoying lots of trips to "Rita's" for delicious water ice, and lots of swimming!

We visited over Caileigh's 6th birthday,  we are so glad we were  able to be a part of her special day!!!

It's always so sad when a visit comes to an end....  the kids have such a hard time saying good-bye to one another......  

Thanks to Maggie and her family for such a nice time - - We can't wait to see you guys next......  Christmas time seems so far away though....  ;0(
