Awww..... My BIG Gracie Girl

My little baby is growing up!!!!!

Both of Gracie's top teeth have been loose for months and giving her some trouble.....  Last night, she finally lost one of them ;0(
It's definitely a little weird everytime I look at her!?!?!?!

I just can't believe how BIG she is!

She left a little note for the tooth fairy asking if she could keep this little tooth!  She was so excited to find the tooth along with some moo-lah in her little tooth fairy pillow this morning!
It's these little milestones that are so incredible as a parent to watch........

Great job getting that tooth out Gracie!!!

~~~Little Garden~~~
While I was working on Saturday, John's mom planted a little flower garden with the girls.  The girls were super excited about it and it looks so wonderful.  I have always wanted to plant some flowers, but I never have much luck...  I can barely keep the hanging plants alive!?!?!?!
Thanks Judy!
Father's Day 2009
Unfortunately, I had to work yesterday afternoon and evening so we had to do our Father's Day celebration in the morning!  The kids were super excited to give John his gifts - they all gave Daddy little homemade things they made at school and a painted frame.  I was so excited to give him a little remote control helicopter(which he has been wanting for a long time) and a unicycle for being the BEST daddy ever!!!!  Then we picked up some bagels and had a little breakfast picnic at the park.  It was such a gorgeous morning and we had a wonderful time!!!
 John is truly one of the most amazing daddy's I have ever seen!
He is so hands-on with the kids and I really appreciate everything he does for all of us!!!
WE LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS JOHN!!!!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO - YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
~~~ "wall of memories" ~~~

I finally completed a task I have been trying to finish for weeks....  I wanted to create a wall full of cute pictures and the some pieces of the kids art-work (they are so proud to have it hanging in frames).  We finished it and I am quite happy with how it turned out....  we have one more wall on the other side that we need to get going on now.

~~Jelly Shoes~~

The girls and I had some errands to run at Target yesterday.  We walked by the shoe department and Norah (my little fashionista) went crazy for these little pink jelly shoes.  I can remember myself being super excited for these shoes when I was about her age ;0)  It was so cute, she thinks they are the most beautiful shoes in the world and said she never even wants to get them dirty! HA!

Who knew that "jelly shoes" would make a come back???

~~~Weekend Fun in Aspen~~~
We were able to spend the weekend in Aspen celebrating Megan's High School Graduation!!!  Big Congrats to Meg for that accomplishment!
We are super excited because she will be attending Regis University in Denver this coming fall.  We are looking forward to spending lots of time with her ;0)
Great Grandma & Papa traveled from Ohio to celebrate with the family - - it's always so nice to see them!  The kids always enjoy spending time with them!
~~Last Day of School~~
The girls attended their last day of school yesterday....  It was a very emotional day for both of them as they have each been with the same teacher for 2 years. They are both going to miss the friends they have made very much.  We are just going to have to try our hardest to stay in touch over the summer!  For a number of reasons, we have decided to send them to a new school next year....  this was our last day at Foothills Academy.  It has been a great school that has definitely played a role in shaping both of their little personalities.  Even though we're going to miss lots, we are excited for a new chapter in their little academic lives!
It is hard to believe that Gracie is a BIG 3rd Grader and Norah is officially in Kindergarten!
Pizza Night!!!
Pizza Night is a favorite in this house...
especially "make your own" pizza!!!
The kids really love spreading out their own dough, putting the sauce on, and sprinkling the cheese and other desired toppings onto their own little pizzas!
Norah's favorite pizza has black & green olives on it!!!
Jack enjoys cheese with black olives!!!
Gracie is a "plain cheese" pizza kind of girl!!!
3 little pizzas ready to bake for 3 kiddos!!!
~~Yummy~~
What's even better is that they end up eating super well....  all 3 of them finished these little pizzas the other night!  They all told me they think they must be really good cooks because that was the best pizza they ever had.....   too funny ;0)
